Dan Amey

Dan Amey is an evangelical United Methodist pastor who has been part of the Prayer Summits since the early years. He was born into a pastor’s family and grew up in several towns in South Jersey. He is a graduate of Asbury College and Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY.  He was ordained in 1982 and after serving churches in Clarksboro, NJ and Magnolia, NJ has been pastor at the United Methodist Church in Brooklawn, NJ since 1988.  He is active at Malaga Camp where he serves as Vice President and song leader and has also been used by the Lord to supervise and mentor other pastors.  At the summits, Dan is known for his love of the great hymns of the faith.  He and his wife Debbie have one grown daughter. Dr. Bernadette Anderson

Dr. Bernadette Anderson serves as the Assistant Pastor and Administrator at the Sword of the Spirit Christian Center Church located in Camden, New Jersey.Dr. B, as she is affectionately known, began with a career in medicine in 1974. She is a Registered Nurse and also holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing from Richard Stockton State College, Pomona, NJ. Her career path changed when she accepted the call from God to devote herself to the Word of God, prayer and working alone side her husband in ministry. Among other duties she is the prayer leader at her church. In February of 1993 she was ordained as a minister of the Gospel. In August of 2006 Dr. B. received a Doctorate of Divinity Degree from Friends International Christian University, Merced California. Dr. Anderson is also, the co-founder and Director of the Oasis Development Corporation which specializes in housing development in the city of Camden, NJ.  She also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Camden Churches Organized for People, Camden NJ, and is a long term member of the Fellowship of International Word of Faith Ministries, of California. Dr. Anderson is married to Pastor Willie L. Anderson and they have four children, eleven grandchildren, one great grandchild and one godson.

Pastor Willie L. Anderson

Pastor Willie L. Anderson is the Pastor of SWORD OF THE SPIRIT CHRISTIAN CENTER IN CAMDEN, NJ. The church was founded in 1989 in the CAMDEN YWCA after he served for several years at the ANTIOCH BAPTIST CHURCH OF CAMDEN also. Starting with only his wife of over 40 years, Dr. Bernadette Anderson, his children and a grandson, the church is now a flourishing ministry in the city. “God called me to teach the word of God in this urban setting and I believe the word will change people and people will change their city.” Pastor Anderson quotes. Besides the church Pastor Anderson is also the founder and president of the OASIS DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION a community development entity that just completed a multi- million dollar project that built 10 new homes here in the city and placed families in them. Reverend Anderson served as the Chairman of Camden Churches Organized for People for 7 years. He is also had the privilege of serving as tri- state director of the FELLOWSHIP OF INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN WORD OF FAITH MINISTRIES of which he is a founding member. Pastor Anderson is married to Rev. Otis Banks

Otis Banks has served as a pastor for over 40 years. For 20 of those years he served as senior pastor of the Diamond Street Church in North Philadelphia. Before his very active "retirement" he served as Director of Faith Based Services for the Wedge Medical Center for Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Services in Philadelphia. During his ministry he has done missionary work in the U.S. and internationally through his home church and with the Mennonite Eastern Conference. He has been an active participant in the Pastor Prayer Summit for twenty five years and has led Prayer Summit events throughout the U.S.

Paul Chaya

Paul has served as a pastor for more than 30 years - 21 of them in North Philadelphia and 11 in Downingtown, PA. Currently, he serves as the Senior Pastor of Windsor Baptist Church. Rev. Chaya's role as GPRM's coordinator evolved from his service as the chair of the prayer committee of the 1992 Greater Philadelphia Billy Graham Crusade. Following the Crusade, under the mentorship of the late Rev. Terry Dirks, of International Renewal Ministries (Portland, OR), Paul accepted the invitation to serve as the coordinator for Greater Philadelphia Renewal Ministries, a role in which he has served since its founding. He leads an experienced servant leader team which has facilitated prayer summits throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia and Africa. 
An avid student, his most recent areas of study include revival, Christianity in America, and the First Great Awakening. Married to Jean for 40 years, the couple has two daughters. (See Paul's Testimony here)

Bishop Samuel W. Ellis

Bishop Samuel W. Ellis is the pastor of First Pentecostal Holy Church in Chester, Pennsylvania.  He has been a participant in the Prayer Summit movement since its beginning in the Greater Philadelphia area. Sam is District Elder of the Delaware Sub-District, serves on the Board of Elders, and is the 2nd Vice President of the Northern District Convocation of the United Holy Church of America, Inc.  In May 2012 he was elevated to the office of Bishop at the United Holy Church General Convocation. Bishop Ellis is a loving husband to his wife of 57 years, Elder Vernadine Ellis, who has served at his side as the church’s First Lady.  He is a devoted father and father-in-law, and a doting grandfather to his six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Bishop Ellis is a man of wisdom, knowledge and compassion.  His quiet demeanor is an inspiration, as well as an example, to all who know him.

John Grove

John Grove was born into an American Baptist pastor’s family, growing up in the states of Ohio, Michigan, and New Jersey. He holds a B.A. in Sociology from Muhlenberg College, and earned his Masters of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from Westminster Seminary in Philadelphia, PAPastor John is currently in his 32nd year of service as the pastor of Columbus Baptist Church, located in Burlington County, N.J. During that time, the church has experienced multiple changes, including a new worship style, an emphasis on small group discipleship, and significant growth in its membership. Rev. Grove has been married for 35 years to his energetic, fun-loving, Irish-American wife, Maureen. They have two adult sons and a granddaughter. (See John's Testimony here)

William B. Moore

Rev. William B. Moore is a pastor, preacher, teacher, evangelist and civic leader. The under-shepherd for Tenth Memorial Baptist Church, in Philadelphia, PA, for over 35 years, he has worked in the Philadelphia community since his arrival in the city in 1974. Helping to bring vision, outcomes, and growth to many of the area’s boards, coalitions, commissions, and businesses, Bill formerly served as the Executive Director and Deputy Director of the Parking Authority for the City of Philadelphia, as a staff member for former Congressman William H. Gray, III, and as the Area Development Director of the United Negro College Fund’s (UNCF) Philadelphia office. He is a founding member of United Bank and also serves as vice-chair of the board of directors for the bank. In 2000, he was appointed to serve as chair of the board for the Foreign Mission Board of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc., a position in which he continues to serve. Born in New Bern, North Carolina, Rev. Moore is the son of the late Earl W. Moore, Senior and Mamie Moore. He earned his BA degree at Fayetteville State University and a Master of Divinity at Lutheran Theological Seminary. He has completed additional graduate work at North Carolina Central University (Durham, NC) and in 1998, received an honorary Doctorate of Divinity degree from Geneva College (Beaver Falls, PA). Married to the former Pauline Mills, they are the proud parents of two children, both of whom are also in the ministry. 

Karen Murray

Karen Murray has been attending the Pastor’s Prayer Summit for many years as a Woman in Ministry. Karen has been serving the Christian Community at First United Methodist Church, Moorestown, NJ for over 15 years. First as the Director of Youth Ministry and now as the Director of Christian Education. Karen joined the GPRM Servant-Leader team in 2014 and continues to serve as Administrator and Registrar. Karen lives with her husband of 30 years, Robert, in Palmyra, NJ. She enjoys serving and ministering to people of all ages and especially enjoys taking time to pray and to listen for the Lord’s call on her life.

John O. Parker, Jr.

Pastor John O. Parker, Jr. is a native of Martinsville, VA. Raised and educated in Philadelphia, PA, he currently resides in Deptford, NJ, where he has served as pastor of Antioch Baptist Church in Camden, NJ, since July 1979. He is an anointed, appointed and approved man of God who loves praying for His people.John has a heart for the community of Camden. Ministering to the whole man is his priority and he has worked with many of the city’s mayors, as well as New Jersey’s governors, to bring about a better environment for all. Under his leadership, Antioch has grown tremendously and has instituted many ministries; included are: classes for new members, the Women and Men’s Ministries of the church, and outreach ministries for youth, street evangelism, and clothing and food services. He has also served as chair for an area drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. As a facilitator for the International Renewal Ministries, Rev. Parker has traveled to serve in Prayer Summits throughout the country. Once a month, he also hosts a Pastors' Prayer Summit at Antioch. Married, he is the father of six children and grandfather to eleven grandchildren.

Bob Santilli
Servant Leader

Bob Santilli has been a pastor for over 45 years. Ordained to the Christian Ministry in 1965, he served congregations in Brooklyn and Queens, NY before arriving in Mount Holly, NJ, where he served as the senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Mt. Holly for 27 years. Since his "early" retirement in 2002, Rev. Santilli has served as an interim pastor for three different congregations. He serves as a volunteer providing pastoral care to missionaries at International Ministries, ABCUSA, and is also a volunteer chaplain at Virtua Hospital in Mt. Holly and with the Westhampton Fire/Rescue Squad. Bob and his wife Barbara, share three children and eight grandchildren, who are the joy of their lives.
