John O. Parker, Jr.

Pastor John O. Parker, Jr. is a native of Martinsville, VA. Raised and educated in Philadelphia, PA, he currently resides in Bridgeton, NJ, where he has served as Pastor of Antioch Baptist Church in Camden, NJ, since July 1979. He is an anointed, appointed and approved man of God who loves praying for His people. John has a heart for the community of Camden. Ministering to the whole man is his priority and he has worked with many of the city’s mayors, as well as New Jersey’s governors, to bring about a better environment for all. Under his leadership, Antioch has grown tremendously and has instituted many ministries; included are: classes for new members, the Women and Men’s Ministries of the church, and outreach ministries for youth, street evangelism, and clothing and food services. He has also served as chair for an area drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. As a facilitator for the International Renewal Ministries, Rev. Parker has traveled to serve in Prayer Summits throughout the country. He also hosted a once-a-month Pastors' Prayer Summit at Antioch. Married, he is the father of six children and his family continues to grow through his children.
