"I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine." - John 17:9
When does the pastor spend dedicated time in rest and spiritual devotion?
Where can a pastor, minister, or spouse spend time in personal deliberation,
choosing only to share at will?
What is the outcome when pastors gather together in prayer?
The annual Pastors' Prayer Summit is a place of prayer, meditation, and connection. Held in early spring each year, rest, restoration and renewal are the goals, and the power of the Holy Spirit is the agenda during this 3 day, 2 night respite.
For over 30 years, pastors have come together to slow down and experience the power of prayer. Whether connecting and sharing with other clergy, praying in serenity, or dining and shining with others, our summits encourage and support participants' seeking and enabling the 'perfect will' and transformative power of God as the guiding force.
Tucked away in a relaxed setting at the New Jersey shore, the Harvey Cedars Bible Conference provides an idyllic backdrop for this spiritual-enrichment retreat. Conveniently accessible, Harvey Cedars is within comfortable driving distance - 90 miles from New York City, 65 miles from Philadelphia, PA and 95 miles from Wilmington, DE.
Spouses of pastors and ministers may also have responsibilities and challenges unique to their roles. The retreat is an ideal environment for spending time connecting with other spouses, personal reflection and renewal, and in strengthening your connection as a couple working in God's vineyard.
Leave your suits, ties and heels at home - casual, comfortable attire is the order of the day.
Generally, attendees begin arriving on Monday, with check-in available at
1:00 pm. A welcome and opening session takes place during the afternoon with information for the summit and other details provided. To conclude our time together on Wednesday there is a closing session right after breakfast. Check-out is on Wednesday. However, feel free to stay for lunch before you depart.
